Are there any limits for bringing home items such as Rum or Coffee?
I've tried to find information online, but haven't been able to so far. . .
Thanks!

I believe the US has a limit of 1-1.5 liters of alcohol per person. I've never heard of anyone getting hassled bringing in coffee. You might try a web search for US Customs.
Also, if you're bringing back alcohol it has to go in your CHECKED bags, so be sure to wrap/bag it well so it doesn't leak!
I brought 2 liters of water samples back last time I went and got pulled down to the bowels of the baggage room in El Salvador (TACA's hub) to open my bag. They just wanted to be sure it wasn't a bomb, but lots of other passengers there also opening their bags that contained rum.
Bottom line, you can bring it back but be ready for the possibility of a hassle.

I looked at the US Customs web site, looks like you may be able to bring in more than a liter of rum, but you'll get hit with DUTY charges.
Check out this link for more info...
