Anything known about daycares in Leon? We would really like a trusted place for our three year old. She would love to learn Spanish in a nurturing and kind environment.

The last time I checked I did not find any day care centers anywhere.  I think the way this works is you help someone identify a creative solution and the economy grows.  You'll settle into Leon, find a neighborhood woman with a child or two of her own, in whom you feel confident, and strike a deal with her.  Two years later she's realized it's a good business, and she puts a sign on her front door, making it official.

You'll find lots of people who might make good nannies in your own home, and if you prefer your child stay in someone else's home to play with their children and so on, you'll find that as well.  As for an official daycare center, I'm not aware of one.  The situation might be different in Granada, where there are more expats looking for something to do, but I suspect even there you won't find daycare.

Good luck!
