I think everyone would enjoy experience.   Plan to spend about $150/week per person for 7 day stay with 4 hrs/day spanish instruction, 3 meals/day.  Plenty activities, lake swim, tons of hiking, visit w/all kinds of local families, etc.... a real good first hand experience; can't wait to return next year.

I visited Ometepe in 2006, and am planning on going back for the month of November with the goal of Spanish lessons and home stay.

Any and all reasonable advice appreciated.

I have tried without success to contact the Ometepe Spanish School. We would like to book a week with them but are departing Nov 16 so might need to make other arrangements. No reply to emails. Do you have any other contact information?
