How can I get to "La Máquina" reserve in Carazo

Dear Randy/Joshua:

In your Moon Nicaragua, 2nd ed, you mention the reserve "La Maquina", Carazo and its attractions. I want to visit that place, but I've no idea how to get there and don't own a car.

What's the best way for me to get there?
Is there any bus from Managua that heads there?
Do you have the management's e-mail or cell phone?

I just plan to visit most of the places you  cover in your book and post my pix and videos in this site.

It's on the road from Diriamba to Casares/Boquita, about halfway there. Lots of buses pass in both direction so you can do that if you don't have a car. I'm not sure about the latest on La Maquina, it's been a few years, so we would love to hear a report if you make it, and what you think.

Joshua, that place is just amazing. The views from the waterfall are gorgeous and the area is great for hiking and camping.

I had been there in 2001, but it was wonderful to get back, this time with my girlfriend.
