Making La Costena Reservations to Corn Island

My husband and I are wary about sending our credit card info over email to La Costena in order to reserve seats on a flight to Corn Island. How likely is it that if we make our reservations at the Managua airport (when we arrive in Nicaragua) for a flight nine days later, we will be able to get seats? Do the flights fill up that far in advance generally? Is our credit card info secure if we send it be email to Julio at La Costena?

if you'll buy your flight 9 days before it isn't a problem (except at Easter), you pay it, get your ticket and it's o.k.
But you have to bear in mind that the office of La Costena only is opened until 5.30pm (I don't know when your flight from the States arrives)!
Sending your credit card info per e-mail isn't a good idea - the only thing is to tell them the infos with a telefone call.
