Surf in January?
«

I'm thinking of a last minute trip to Nicaragua in mid January (escape DC during the inauguration madness). I'd love to learn to surf--is it worth it in January in Nicaragua? Thanks (if this is already discussed in the book, I'm sorry for asking again, I just ordered my copy & it's still not here yet).

Agreed, and the winds are not bad during this time. Go for it. At a minimum, check out ChicaBrava surf camp (

).
